TEETH (singular, Tooth) are small white structures found in the jaws (or mouths) of many vertebrates that are used to tear, scrape, milk and chew food. Some animals, particularly carnivores, also use teeth for hunting or defense. The roots of Teeth are covered by gums. Teeth are among the most distinctive (and long-lasting) features of mammal species. Paleontologists use Teeth to identify fossil species and determine their relationships. The shape of the animal’s teeth are related to its diet.

ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH The first electric toothbrush was developed in 1939 in Scotland, but did not appear on the open market until the 1960s, when it was marketed as the Broxodent in the United States by Squibb Company. In 1961, General Electric introduced a rechargeable cordless toothbrush that moved up and down when activated. In 1987, the first rotary action toothbrush for home use, the Interplak, appeared in shops for the general public. There are currently many different varieties of model that use this mechanism.

TOOTHBRUSH is an instrument consisting of a small brush on a handle used to clean teeth through tooth brushing. Toothpaste, often containing fluoride, is commonly added to a toothbrush to aid in cleaning. Toothbrushes are offered with varying textures of bristles, and come in many different sizes and forms. Most dentists recommend using a toothbrush labelled “Soft”, since firmer bristled toothbrushes can damage tooth enamel and irritate gums as indicated by the American Dental Association. Toothbrushes are often made from synthetic fibers, although natural toothbrushes are also known in many parts of the world. A variety of oral hygiene measures have been used since before recorded history. This has been verified by various excavations done all over the world, in which chewsticks, tree twigs, bird feathers, animal bones and porcupine quills were recovered. Many peoples used different forms of toothbrushes. Indian medicine (Ayurveda) has used the neem tree (a.k.a. daatun) and its products to create toothbrushes and similar products for millennia. A person chews one end of the neem twig until it somewhat resembles the bristles of a toothbrush, and then uses it to brush the teeth. In the Muslim world, the miswak, or siwak, made from a twig or root with antiseptic properties has been widely used since the Islamic Golden Age. “Voodoo Child (Slight Return)” by Jimi Hendrix off the Electric Ladyland album. It’s taken me too long to put up a Hendrix song, his poster’s been right behind me for years. This has always been my favorite song by him, the Woodstock version in particular is unreal. I learned this when I was like 14 so I don’t have tabs or anything and I did it by ear and have just been playing it for 5 years. He’s arguably the greatest guitarist ever, and I can’t play it exactly the way he does, so I’m just roughly improvising the whole time. And I couldn’t get my guitar in tune well. And yes I play with my teeth at the end. Enjoy.
