How can you stop your child from gritting their teeth?

My son is 9 months old and has 4 teeth on top and 3 on the bottom and has discovered that a fun sound comes from them if he grinds them together. Has anyone dealt with this and knows how to turn their attention away from it? I’m scared of it messing his baby teeth up and it’s a horrible sound at that!

He will stop doing this. My son went through a stage of this and he stopped after about a week.

He will stop doing this. My son went through a stage of this and he stopped after about a week.
