   Well ONCE, my pug was drinking water out of a bowl, and she put her nose in there, adn started choking, but I blew aire in her nose, and she was OK =)

   out of all the pugs …
   out of all the pugs I know not one has had a major breathing issue. Pugs and any short snout dog can do what is known as reverse sneezing which also sound like honking. The vet said this is not harmful and is more scarry for the owner then the dog. It recommended just rubbing the dogs throat when it happens. Some Pugs do have a problem with their noses not being shaped right and can be fixed by surgery. But you would see that in the puppy before it was old enough to be adopated.

    My dog loves it too. He always wants to lick the brush before I can brush his teeth.
    He is crazy for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I have a Pug named …
    I have a Pug named Pepper and she HATES brushing her teeth. She has natural dog toothpaste flavoured Vanilla and no way! I gave her the toothbrush as a chew toy, works just as well.
