This was actually very helpful! I never thought to keep our dogs’s mouths closed while brushing their teeth. This defintely keeps the toothpaste from going everywhere but the dog’s mouth. I just tried this technique on our 14-month-old golden retriever and it worked! I’ll be trying it on our old German shepherd later on. Thanks for posting this!
